Pattern Energy
Gennaro (Jerry) H. Crescenti is a Meteorologist whose principal area of expertise includes in-situ meteorological instrumentation, ground-based remote sensors, observation techniques, boundary layer meteorology, turbulence, air-sea interaction and wind resource and project energy assessment. He has over 36 years of experience as a meteorologist and 21 years in the wind energy industry. Early in his career, he worked as a research meteorologist at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and then at NOAA’s Air Resources Laboratory. He started work in wind energy in 2003 at FPL Energy (now NextEra) and in 2006 at Iberdrola Renewables (formerly PPM Energy, now Avangrid Renewables) and in 2014 at ArcVera Renewables (formerly Chinook Wind and V-Bar). He joined Pattern Energy in August 2022 as a lead meteorologist. He earned a B. S. degree in Earth Science from Southern Connecticut State University and a M.
