Marcella Pinheiro Lazar, born on August 22, 1996, in Fortaleza, CearĂ¡, is a dual-degree engineer, holding a Bachelor's in Electronic Engineering (2018) and Electrical Engineering (2019) from the University of Fortaleza. During her academic career, she was an active member of the Wireless Networks and Sensors Laboratory (LARES) and received fellowships from both the Edson Queiroz Foundation Scientific Initiation Scholarship Program (PROBIC/FEQ) and the Human Resources Program (PRH-53) of the National Petroleum Agency (ANP). These experiences allowed her to develop expertise in wireless sensor networks, biomedical sensors, and control systems.
Post-graduation, Marcella spent two years at Casa dos Ventos, where she applied machine learning techniques to detect anomalies in wind and solar resource measurement data. Currently, she continues her work at Casa dos Ventos as part of the Wind Resource Assessment team, focusing on wind resource modeling and wind project engineering in the development phase.
Committed to continuous professional development, Marcella is currently pursuing a specialization in Energy Markets at the University of Fortaleza (Unifor), further enhancing her expertise in the renewable energy sector.
